FAQ’s:

How can I get official transcripts mailed to colleges?

If you are filling out your application through the CommonApp, there will be a place where you can enter your school counselor’s information. Put my email address in there, which is: nicole.kioa@slcschools.org

Then I will be able to send your transcripts electronically.

If you need an official transcript mailed off, please email Amanda Johnson. Amanda.johnson@slcschools.org  Be sure to put in the email the name and mailing address for the school(s) that your transcripts need to be sent to.

**If you have taken concurrent enrollment courses, you will need to send that transcript on your own by logging in to your mypage.

***We do not send ACT scores to colleges, that is your responsibility. You must create an account at https://www.act.org/

When can I get my ACT scores?

The ACT scores from the March 3rd test date should be mailed out to you within the next few weeks. Because I am not at school, I won’t get your scores so you will have to keep checking your mail for those scores.

I didn’t take the ACT on March 3rd, when can I take it?

In a nutshell – there will be four national test dates made available by ACT for students who have not already taken the 11th grade ACT.

  • June 13th, July 18th, September 12th, and October 24th.
  • ACT will provide vouchers that students can use to pay the registration fee for a national test date ACT.

How can I register for concurrent enrollment for fall semester?

As of right now, I am planning to help you all register from home. I am working on ways to make this as easy and efficient as possible. You can look at the SLCC website for more information about concurrent enrollment and to apply if you haven’t done that yet.

http://www.slcc.edu/concurrentenrollment/

The fall schedule is not posted yet, but it should be within the next week or so.

Registration dates for SLCC are:

  • April 6 - April 10: Priority Registration
  • April 13 - Sept 2: Continuing Student Registration (45 or more earned hours)
  • April 14 - Sept 2: Continuing Student Registration (24 or more earned hours)
  • April 15 - Sept 2: Continuing Student Registration (4 or more earned hours)
  • April 16 - Sept 2: Continuing Student Registration (0 or more earned hours)

I will be posting information on the Canvas course that I have created. I sent an invite to all students, but if you have not received it, the course code is: 8H76LL

If you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me!!

Stay safe, everyone!
